We take a holistic approach to all of our work. This includes detailed fieldwork, careful condition assessment, thorough historic research and analysis. If the building shows signs of deterioration, then we want to address the causes of those problems, not just the symptoms. If the building needs plumbing, electrical or HVAC systems updated or its accessibility improved, then we want to find creative ways to accommodate these new features while preserving the integrity of the original building. If the building has historic designations, then we can readily meet the requirements of numerous supervisory entities including the Texas Historical Commission and the Secretary of the Interior. And if the budget is limited, then we can help identify priorities and develop a phased approach to construction that meets long range planning goals.

William Gould has more than 44 years of architectural Preservation and Restoration experience. His company provides architectural planning and analysis, historic design and preservation consulting, dismantling and relocating historic structures as well as most aspects of restoration contracting. I have been practicing architecture since 1994 when I graduated from Montana State University in Bozeman.
