brennan+company architects is a 28-year-old, open-studio, collaborative firm housed in an historic 1840 sustainably renovated building on Main Street in Ellicott City, Maryland. We specialize in beautiful and smart community buildings and residences, both new and renovated. We promote building preservation and reuse as critical to sense of place and create holistic sustainable environments for healthy and efficient living.

Carmina Wood Design is an architecture, civil engineering, interior design and planning, and historic Preservation firm. We prepare Federal and State Rehabilitation Tax Credit applications, assist with submissions under Section 106, create Historic Structures Reports/Building condition reports, and help create Local Preservation Commission Design Guidelines. We create designs of restorations, rehabilitations, and adaptive reuse projects. We design appropriate new construction of historic districts, additions to historic buildings and create workshops on historic preservation issues for municipal officials, professional organizations and the general public.

Citadel DCA is an award winning heritage architecture firm that specializes in preservation planning, oversight, peer review and adaptive reuse design. We are known for our ground breaking Historic Structure Reports, Building Preservation Plans and condition assessment reports. Citadel works with the country's foremost architectural historians, conservators and craftsman to deliver clients appropriate and practical preservation solutions. Located in Washington DC, with a studio in Madrid, Spain, Citadel has consulted on projects in the US, Europe, the Caribbean and South America.

Construction waste is a BIG problem. The solution? We're turning the waste stream into a resource stream! Visit our huge warehouse to hunt for treasure! We have 40,000 square feet of modern and vintage building materials, tools, hardware, lighting, plumbing fixtures & appliances, as well as architectural salvage, vintage furniture, and antiques. Community Forklift accepts donations of surplus, gently-used, and salvaged home improvement supplies. We are also grateful for volunteer help and financial support.

Our focus on historic preservation includes historic downtowns, commercial and municipal buildings, religious sanctuaries and historic homes throughout the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware. D.W. Masonry, Inc.’s highly skilled team of masons perform all types of masonry restoration and masonry repair.

Daniel Campbell, AIA is a multi-state licensed architect with over 30 years of experience in architecture, specializing in historic preservation. Prior to his current practice, Dan was employed for 14 years with John Milner Architects of Chadds Ford, PA, a nationally-known, award-winning architectural firm lead by John D. Milner, FAIA. Dan conducts architectural restoration and rehabilitation projects through all phases of the process including building surveys, measured drawings, code analysis, conditions assessment, restoration design, adaptive re-use design, construction documentation, bidding, and contract administration. Dan produces historic preservation plans; conducting architectural conditions-assessments himself, while directing teams of structural and MEP engineering consultants, materials conservators, and professional estimators.  Projects have included dozens of significant National Register Listed and National Historic Landmark buildings.
