Construction waste is a BIG problem. The solution? We're turning the waste stream into a resource stream! Visit our huge warehouse to hunt for treasure! We have 40,000 square feet of modern and vintage building materials, tools, hardware, lighting, plumbing fixtures & appliances, as well as architectural salvage, vintage furniture, and antiques. Community Forklift accepts donations of surplus, gently-used, and salvaged home improvement supplies. We are also grateful for volunteer help and financial support.

Our focus on historic preservation includes historic downtowns, commercial and municipal buildings, religious sanctuaries and historic homes throughout the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware. D.W. Masonry, Inc.’s highly skilled team of masons perform all types of masonry restoration and masonry repair.

Daniel Campbell, AIA is a multi-state licensed architect with over 30 years of experience in architecture, specializing in historic preservation. Prior to his current practice, Dan was employed for 14 years with John Milner Architects of Chadds Ford, PA, a nationally-known, award-winning architectural firm lead by John D. Milner, FAIA. Dan conducts architectural restoration and rehabilitation projects through all phases of the process including building surveys, measured drawings, code analysis, conditions assessment, restoration design, adaptive re-use design, construction documentation, bidding, and contract administration. Dan produces historic preservation plans; conducting architectural conditions-assessments himself, while directing teams of structural and MEP engineering consultants, materials conservators, and professional estimators.  Projects have included dozens of significant National Register Listed and National Historic Landmark buildings.

Historic preservation is the core of who we are here at Deep Roots Craftsmen. Whether it’s a large public project funded in part through Colorado’s State Historic Fund (SHF) program, or a private restoration, we live and breathe preservation. Our team has been a part of countless historic projects across the state of Colorado and prior to that in New England. From structural rebuilds, to aesthetic finish work, to coordinating with other skilled craftsmen, we can handle it all. Each member of our team is well-versed in the requirements of the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation and we take the same detailed approach to every project, whatever the size.
